Your Podiatry People was born out of the simple desire to provide high quality podiatry services to the local community of our founder, Nick Hickey.
True to our namesake, at Your Podiatry People we make you our priority. We strive to provide only the highest quality podiatry services, delivered with a personalised approach that puts our clients at ease.
Our humble beginnings started as one clinic in Greenslopes, however as a result of our unique approach and quality of services, Your Podiatry People quickly became the preferred local Greenslopes podiatrist and the demand for a second clinic in Cleveland arose.
While our clinics have expanded, our goal and method of service delivery remains the same. From the moment you step into our clinic, you will be greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere where you can feel comfortable discussing your concerns and goals, and rest assured our highly qualified podiatrists will carefully listen to your needs and provide you with individualised treatment plans tailored to address your specific foot health requirements.
Meet Our Founder & Lead Podiatrist
Nick Hickey graduated from QUT in 2007 and began working under the guidance and mentorship of some of Australia’s leading podiatrists in a busy private clinic in Brisbane.
Before long, Nick established his own private clinic on Brisbane’s Bayside, which has grown to be one of the largest podiatry clinics in Queensland.
In 2020 Nick decided to open Your Podiatry People, where he could freely use his wealth of knowledge and experience to provide high-quality podiatry care for people in his local community, which was his passion. Nick currently splits his time between the Greenslopes and Cleveland locations.
Nick has a special interest in musculoskeletal podiatry across all age ranges – from the pigeon-toed walking in young children, to arthritic complaints in elderly patients. He is also part owner of local functional group training gym Fitstop Greenslopes, so he understands the requirements of those looking to improve their health and well being through exercise, including the injuries that can occur along the way.
Outside of work, Nick is married with 3 daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, taking his girls fishing, playing at the local park and participating in weekend sport. In his spare time, you will find Nick training at his gym, enjoying a nice meal, or snowboarding in the winter months.
